Ordering & Shipping
Q: Where do you ship? A: Due to the complex and ever-changing regulatory environment for shipping alcohol, the states where we can ship change frequently. Please add items to your cart and enter your shipping address at checkout to see if we can ship to your location. Our processing team will review each order for compliance.
Q: What are your shipping rates? A: Shipping rates vary by location and order size. To get an accurate shipping quote:
- Add products to your cart
- Click checkout
- Enter your shipping address
- Press enter to view available shipping options and rates
Q: What are your order processing times? A: Orders placed before 1 PM PST will be processed the same business day. Orders placed after 1 PM PST will be processed the next business day. Processing times may be extended during peak seasons.
Q: Do you offer weekend delivery? A: No, we only deliver Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM local time.
Q: Do I need to be home for delivery? A: Yes. Someone 21 or older must be present to sign for the delivery and show valid government-issued photo ID. We cannot leave packages without an adult signature.
Age Verification
Q: What are your age requirements? A: Both the purchaser and recipient must be 21 years or older. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for delivery.
Q: Can I ship to a P.O. Box? A: No, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses due to the age verification requirement.
Insurance & Damages
Q: Is shipping insurance included? A: Shipping insurance is only available when selected at checkout. We strongly recommend adding shipping protection to your order. Orders shipped without insurance are sent at the customer’s risk.
Q: What if my order arrives damaged? A: If your order arrives damaged:
- Take clear photos of the damage
- Email support@ggmerchants.com with your order number and photos
- We’ll arrange for replacement (if available) or process a refund
Order Changes & Cancellations
Q: How do I cancel my order? A: To cancel an order, email support@ggmerchants.com with:
- Your full name
- Shipping address
- Order number Please note that phone cancellations cannot be accepted.
Q: Can I change my shipping address after ordering? A: Please email support@ggmerchants.com immediately with any address changes. We cannot guarantee address changes once an order has been processed.
Returns & Refunds
Q: Do you accept returns? A: Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages once delivered.
Q: What is your refund policy? A: Refunds are issued for:
- Damaged products (with photo documentation)
- Orders cancelled prior to shipping
- Failed delivery attempts
- Orders we cannot fulfill due to shipping restrictions
Q: Are there any fees for returned orders? A: Yes. For orders returned to sender:
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- A 5% restocking fee will be applied
- Refund will be processed once the order is received back at our facility
Legal & Tax Information
Q: Do you charge sales tax? A: As a licensed California retailer, California sales tax will be applied to transactions where title passes in California. Tax rates for other states will be calculated at checkout based on delivery address.
Q: When does title of the alcohol transfer? A: Except for permit states, title to and ownership of alcoholic beverages passes from us to you in California, and wines are delivered to you in California.
